The Pipeline Problem: Board Diversity in Canada
According to the 2016 Annual Report Card (ARC) released by the Canadian Board Diversity Council (CBDC), female representation on Canada’s FP 500 has grown only 2.1% over the past year, which means women are only 21.6% of the top-tier, decision-making power in this country. We all know about this problem at the board level, but WXN wants to focus on where there can be immediate action toward a solution: in the earlier stages of career development.
Join Poonam Puri, experienced corporate director, practicing lawyer, and corporate governance expert to explore new data from the 2016 ARC and learn how each generation can be part of the progress to raise the percentage of women in the executive pipeline to new heights.
