Wednesdays with WXN – Frequently Asked Questions
What is a webinar?
A webinar is a web-based seminar. It allows participants in different locations to speak to each other live, in real-time, and to share documents such as slides.

Do I dial in by telephone or do I log-in on my computer?  How?
Before the webinar, you will receive an email containing a link, a meeting number and a password. Simply click on the link and sign in with this information to join the webinar. The same email will contain a direct phone number so that you can speak to the group.  You do both simultaneously.

How will I communicate with the presenter and other WXN members in the webinar?
You will communicate by speaking on the phone. You can also submit questions and send private messages using the chat function. If you are unable to access a computer, it is also possible to participate via teleconference alone.

What do I see on my computer screen?
The basic screen will display a list of who is participating in the webinar, as well as any slides or visual aids being used by the presenter.
Is the webinar offered to all WXN members?
Yes. Wednesdays with WXN webinars are free to any members OR non-members who choose to participate.

Will the webinars be recorded?
Yes. Any members who are not able to participate in the webinar on the actual day of the event will be able to download a recording and listen to the discussion at their convenience.

How do I participate if I am not a member?
Email Sara Falconer, Online Strategy and Media Relations Manager at sfalconer@wxnetwork.com.
