Teeing it up to “Turn UP the Volume!” on ovarian cancer
It’s time to tee-up as registration for the 2008 Ladies Golf Classic is in full swing. The Women’s Executive Network (WXN) and Ovarian Cancer Canada invite you to join us on Tuesday, August 26th, 2008 for a rewarding day of golf, dinner and networking.
Details for this year’s event are as follows:
Place: Angus Glen Golf Club, 10080 Kennedy Road, Markham, Ontario
Date: Tuesday, August 26th, 2008
Attendees: 144 Professional Women
Format: Shotgun start at 1:30pm ~ 4 Person Teams ~ 18 holes
Registration: Opens at 12noon. Please register at least 30 minutes before start time as participants move to hole assignments at 1:15pm.
Fee: $285.00 per participant which includes green fee, golf cart, BBQ lunch and deluxe dinner.

Last year's tournament was a great success, with over $40,000 raised. As with our 2007 event, 90 per cent of this year’s proceeds will go to Ovarian Cancer Canada and 10 per cent to the WXN Foundation in support of charitable programs targeting women and children.
