WXN Foundation
The WXN Foundation supports the advancement and empowerment of women by creating mentoring, learning and networking opportunities for high-potential women across Canada and internationally.
It achieves this by providing funding for women to take advantage of existing WXN programs, through initiatives developed by the Foundation and in collaboration with partners, and through giving to charities with values and objectives aligned with our own. In three years, the WXN Foundation has given $107,000 to charitable and not-for-profit organizations supporting women and girls across Canada. Our main focus is providing bursaries for our WXNWisdom Top 100 Mentoring program, which matches high-performing women with mentors from our community of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winners.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO PARTICIPATE IN A PhD STUDY WITH QUEEN'S UNIVERSITY?
Dear WXN Community,
We would encourage you to participate in an important research initiative on women, work-life balance, and family dynamics.
Alyson Byrne, a PhD Candidate at the Queen’s School of Business, and her supervisor, Dr. Julian Barling, a Professor and Borden Chair of Leadership at the Queen’s School of Business, are conducting an online study addressing pressing issues for women in high job status positions and how this impacts their family dynamics. This aggregated information will be made available to the WXN Community and we will use this information to help further guide some of our future endeavors.
We would like to invite you to participate in this study, which is a survey that will ask you a variety of questions about your work experiences, your family dynamics and how those two aspects of your life crossover. As a component to this study, Alyson Byrne and Dr. Barling would also like to learn about your husband or spouse’s thoughts with regards to his work experiences, his family dynamics and the crossover of those domains. There is an option for your spouse to also participate.
As a token of appreciation, you will be entered into a draw to win one of a number of $50 Starbucks gift cards (spouses who participate will also be entered)!
Participation is completely voluntary and all answers will remain anonymous and confidential. The data will be used for research purposes, and will be reported in the form of group totals only.
