Coro Strandberg, Principal of Strandberg Consulting, is an influential sustainability strategist and thought-leader. A Canadian trail-blazer in values-based business practices and market sustainability, Strandberg uses market levers such as finance and investment, supply chains and corporate governance to catalyze sustainable growth and development.
Strandberg has contributed to the evolving field of CSR and sustainability for more than 20 years. She was a director of Vancity Credit Union for 12 years (three as chair of the board), where from 1988-2000 she helped position the credit union as an international leader in corporate social responsibility.
Her clients include retail, transportation and finance firms; industry associations; environmental organizations; social enterprises and governments. In 2010, two of Coro’s clients received national recognition for their sustainability leadership: The Co-operators placed second on the Corporate Knights list of the 50 Top Corporate Citizens in Canada and the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games received the Corporate Award for Environmental Excellence (Facilities and Events) from the GLOBE Foundation.
Coro is an active public speaker, facilitator and writer. She has been a finalist for the Business in Vancouver Influential Women in Business Award, the YWCA Women of Distinction Award and the Burnaby Entrepreneur of the Year.
Coro’s new green home was awarded LEED Gold status and received a Burnaby Environmental Award.

With expertise in strategic communications, partner relations, and project management in corporate, small business and non-profit environments, Chantal’s industry experience encompasses financial services, private equity, insurance, post-secondary education, sustainable packaging, professional and personal development, nature art, and non-profit.
Chantal holds a core value of learning for life – as such she has a MA in Professional Communications, a BCom in International Business, and a Public Relations Certificate. Her Master's thesis Authentic Identity: The Essence of how successful Ecopreneurs Communicate was published in The Journal of Values-Based Leadership (2009).
With a passion for creating positive change for ourselves and our communities, Chantal is the Co-founder and Vice President of Climb For Change, and is a member of the Board of Directors for Power To Be Adventure Therapy Society. In January 2010, she co-lead a charitable campaign and expedition to Mt.
Kilimanjaro, and is currently planning a charitable expedition for 2011 up Pico De Orizaba, the third highest peak in North America.

Connie is the founder and principal of ICC, a business strategy and communications firm she established in 1999 to support and enhance the performance of organizations committed to integrating and aligning social, environmental and economic performance. Clients include established international organizations and regional enterprises involving alternative and renewable energy, clean-tech, recycled manufacturing technology and sustainable real estate development.
Through ICC, Connie has more than a decade of experience working at the board and executive levels that combines with her early career as an investment advisor and financial planner with Goepel McDermid Securities (now Raymond James), and as co-founder of an award-winning business venture.
Over the past decade, Connie has committed to integrating sustainability into all aspects of her work. In recent years, she has been focused on helping others make sustainability a way of life at the personal, financial and executive levels. That led to the founding of GreenPages Directory Inc., a search engine/directory dedicated to making sustainable products, services and information more widely accessible. Consequently, she has been recognized as a leader in sustainability by the University of British Columbia.
Connie’s experience ranges from policy-making, board governance, First Nations negotiation, government relations, corporate structure, fundraising and the development and implementation of all forms of business and communications strategies. Connie is dedicated to youth and the arts and served as Chair of the Vancouver International Children’s Festival and developed an African Education Initiative associated with Rotary International. She is a mentor with the University of British Columbia, Minerva Foundation for Women and the Women’s Enterprise Centre.
Connie holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia, licenses for securities and insurance from the Canadian Securities Institute, and a certificate in integrative personal counselling. She also has an international perspective gained through studies at universities in Sweden, Germany and at the prestigious HEC in Paris, France.
