Priscille Leblanc was appointed Vice President, Corporate Communications in November, 2007. In this role, she is responsible for Air Canada’s overall corporate communications, including the strategic development and implementation of employee communications and all media relations programs. Prior to this appointment, Priscille held senior managerial positions in the airline’s Corporate Communications branch, where she was responsible for developing and implementing various media and employee communications plans on a number of high profile issues. Priscille joined Air Canada in 1997. She previously held a number of senior positions in the aviation industry overseeing communications, inter-governmental and community relations, regulatory affairs, marketing communications, public relations and customer service. Priscille holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia.

As CEO of Edelman Canada, Heather Conway is responsible for overseeing more than 160 staff in the company’s offices in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Edelman Canada is one of the country’s top PR firms, working on strategic communications mandates for leading Canadian and international brands. Recognized as one of Canada’s most accomplished marketing and communications executives, Conway previously served as Executive Vice President of Marketing, Creative Services, Public Affairs and Affiliate Marketing at Alliance Atlantis where she had full responsibility for all Broadcast and Entertainment marketing & publicity, affiliate relations, CSI marketing and publicity, as well as government and public affairs, including the sponsorship and donations program. Prior to that, she was EVP of Corporate and Public Affairs at TD Bank Financial Group. She was the first woman in the bank’s history to hold the title of EVP. Ms. Conway holds an MA in Industrial Relations from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom and a B.A. in Economics from Queen’s University. A past recipient of Canada’s prestigious Top 40 Under 40 designation, she currently serves on the Board of Directors of American Express Bank of Canada and IGM Financial Inc. She is also a volunteer member of the Boards of the Walrus Foundation and the Samara Project.

Penny Bonner practises life sciences law. She is Chair of our Life Sciences Team and our Recall and Crisis Management Team. Ms. Bonner advises and represents clients in Canada in the following sectors: biotechnology, prescription and over-the-counter pharmaceuticals (both human and veterinary), natural health products, medical devices, foods and cosmetics. Her counsel to clients includes analysis of regulatory changes and drafting of submissions for regulatory changes, bioethics, commercial agreements, constitutional challenges to regulatory restrictions, crisis management, labelling, advertising and promotion, pricing, product liability litigation, both individual and class actions, protection of personal information, recalls and government enforcement actions, regulatory approvals, and resisting disclosure under freedom of information laws. Ms. Bonner has significant experience helping clients deal with key regulatory agencies, such as the Health Products and Food Branch of the Department of Health, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, the Department of Agriculture and Agri-food and the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board, as well as seeking judicial review of those agencies' decisions in Federal Court. Her background includes serving at the predecessor agency to the Health Products and Food Branch.
