Kathy Sendall's Top 10- What's Yours?
Inspiration & Wisdom

Recently at a WXN Breakfast in Calgary, 2007 WXN Top 100 Hall of Fame inductee and Corporate Director Kathleen Sendall was interviewed by WXN founder, Pamela Jeffery as they delved into a variety of questions. We think Kathy’s ‘Top 10’ list makes pretty good sense and is also a great conversation starter. Here are Kathy’s ‘Top 10’:

1. Never give up the search for the perfect mascara.

2. Never lose your sense of humour and ability to laugh, especially at yourself.

3. Listen - learn to keep your mouth shut and control your temper.

It was a pleasure to share a table with Dr. Rukhsana Malik at last year’s 2012 WXN Top 100 Gala. Her warmth and openness made it impossible not to like her, and impossible not to pick her brain. Scrambling for your balancing sheets, your print-offs, your visa bills – that dreaded feeling pours over you thick and sticky like molasses: what if I did something wrong?

Business & Economics
By Alfa HilwanMay 15, 2012

WXN was proud to have launched their new Evening Cocktail Series last week at the fabulously chic C5 Restaurant at the ROM. It was the culmination of a program which took months of meticulous planning as we combed the nation for the best and brightest young minds. We wanted to bring a roster of "Leaders Who Are Changing the World" and present provocative topics which would not only educate our members, but inspire them to do great things as well.

The buzz had been building as media from all across Canada anticipated the first appearance of Fuck Cancer's Yael Cohen in the Toronto market.
